As a licensed social worker and certified alcohol and drug counselor, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing substance use, anger, stress, behavioral concerns, interpersonal conflict, and difficult life transitions. I aim to provide a supportive and straightforward environment where you can better understand what you are facing, identify available resources, and develop practical strategies for moving forward.
My professional background includes school social work, community-based behavioral health, care coordination, advocacy, and helping clients and families navigate behavioral health and community support systems. I also have experience providing individual and group support related to emotional regulation, substance use, and behavioral concerns.
My work is guided by the words of James Baldwin: “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” I believe acknowledging a challenge is an important first step, but you do not have to figure everything out at once.
Together, we can identify your strengths, build coping skills, and establish realistic goals that support greater stability and well-being.
At FBHC, I provide case management, care coordination, resource navigation, and practical support to help individuals address barriers and connect with services that fit their needs.
I believe meaningful support begins with meeting people where they are and understanding what may be standing in the way of where they want to go. My role is to help clients clarify their needs, identify available options, and take practical steps toward recovery, stability, and greater well-being.
My professional background includes behavioral health program leadership, substance use and co-occurring disorder services, program development, assessment and service planning, relapse prevention, harm reduction, and individual and group support.
As a certified alcohol and drug counselor and qualified mental health professional, I support adults experiencing substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, and challenges that may affect their recovery or stability. I am also the Founder and Program Director of T.O.M.I. Community Recovery LLC, where my work focuses on expanding access to behavioral health and recovery services within the community.
